Braised Swiss Chard

Swiss chard is always a nice addition to salads, but this recipe will take it to another level.  Braising really brings out the nutty aroma of chard.  This recipe is extremely easy and is well worth the short preparation and cooking time to try out.

1 large bunch of Swiss chard, ~4-6 cups
1 small clove garlic, sliced
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp water
1-2 tbsp butter (or your favorite healthy alternative)
Pinch of red pepper flakes
